Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)got a pint of ale. Meantime the man held a good grip on the reins as if afraid the horse might run away. He then gave the reins to the shopkeeper asking him to hold it for a minute until he would go out into the yard. Very carefully the barman held the reins, but as time went by became anxious about the return of the man. At last he jumped over the counter and looked out in the street and saw a boy holding the winkers. The shopkeeper saw how he had been tricked but could do nothing about it.
- Once upon a time there was a carpenter who lived in a boarding house. On coming to the house he brought with him a costly set of carpenters tools. He was there for a good while and had not paid for his stay, so the landlady decided she had a claim on the tools. The bon was locked and she and her servant were not able to move it, it was so heavy.
The carpenter disappeared leaving his bon of tools behind him. The landlady decided to break open the chest. On doing so she(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
