    A cobweb is put on cuts.
    "Blue", used by women when washing clothes is put on a sting of a bee or a wasp to kill the pain.
    Cold water poured on a sprained hand or ankle prevents swelling and eases the pain.
    Hot milk with pepper in it is a cure for a sick stomach.
    Water from certain holy wells is a cure for warts.
    A dock leaf is put in the sting of a nettle.
