    tins were called boxty scrapers. Then the pulpy substance of the potatoes was put into a cloth and the water was squeezed out of it. Then it was mixed with flour and baked on a pan.
    Potato cake was another favorite food used by the people of this locality. This cake was made from boiled potatoes mashed together with flour and baked on a griddle. Many of the local people still make this kind of bread.
