  1. I wrote down this song from Don O'Mahony of Dromousta Drimoleague. He told me he never saw the song in print but that when a young lad he learned it from his father who was a Tailor.

    Until I was transported into Van Diemen's Land.

    And vowed to heaven we ne'er would part until Ireland would be freed
