  1. The following are cures for ailments in which the old people of this locality believe.
    Tooth-ache: Hold two bottles of hot water to the face. One in each side
    (2) Hold whiskey in the mouth
    (3) Let a frog croak three times inside the mouth
    (4) Put tobacco in to the tooth
    Rash and Wild-fire: Let the sufferer write his name in ink around the rash.
    (2) Bail dandelion and eat it
    Warts: Count and put the same number of pebbles as there is of warts in a paper bag, and leave them in a obvious position. Whoever finds the bag will get the warts, and they will leave the person who placed the pebbles there. Cut a piece of meat for every wart, and bury it in a place in which it is likely to be found.
    (3) Rub with fasting-spit for nine consecutive mornings
