- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)On the seventeenth of March it was the custom that the people wear the shamrock and go to the public house to wet it. If they have any friend in foreign countries they send some to them. Every year everybody puts up a big bunch of flowers in honour of Mary. Every year on the twentyninth of June we celebrate a feast in honour of St. Peter and Paul. On that day little boys go round to the houses and get bags of turf and light a big fire in the evening. On November the eleventh there is a big feast held in honour of St. Martin. Every body kills something on that day for their dinner.
