- There was another fort in Liscarrol. The owner of the farm in which it was situated decided on removing it and ploughing the space. His men and himself got to work, but it was never completed as some defect was inflicted on each worker.
Another fort is situated in Mr. Buckley's farm in the townland of Glen North. It is surrounded by a mound of earth and a great dike outside. There are several old forts in Glen, but little history is connected with them.
There is another story told about one of the forts in Mr. Lehane's farm. A one Mrs. Murphy by name, was as they say, "whipped away" into one of these forts. Another feeble, old woman was put instead of her. People guessed what had occurred, and they informed the Priest. The Priest went to the fort and asked God to restore the woman to her family.
Through the Priest's power the woman was won back and the miserable creature disappeared.- Faisnéiseoir
