- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)has to go around the well seven times, and during each round to say an Our Father and three Hail Marys and each time he arrives back at the well he must put a pebble into it. Of course he must have seven pebbles ready in his hand at the begginning of the "rounds". There is a story told about how this well changed its position one time. It was abused by a maid who lived with a parson in the Glebe. She was sent to the river to wash some clothes, but instead of doing as she was told she washed them in the holy well. Next morning the people were amazed to find that the well was not in its own place, but a new well had sprung up in a(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
