Ar an leathanach seo

This would be heard if a person were travelling after midnight, and the sight of the leprechaun often put the storyteller to flight, as his courage would fail him, when making a grasp at the leprechaun to find his hidden gold. There is another fort, in which many a person of the present age, could tell of a weird experience, when passing by or walking home after midnight. It is known as "Tornin afidle" and it is in Mr. James O'Sullivan's farm on the road to Kilmedy. If the hours are late no person would walk across fields or by forts, hence the loss of these connections with fairyland seems to be cut off for ever more.
