Cattle were also taken on grass in payment for goods by farmers and in (exchange) exchanging cattle or horses bargains were made with younger cattle being given.There were but few shops in the town in olden times and business would to be done on a Sunday, as people availed of the opportunity of coming to Mass, and then used the rest of the day in doing business.In those times public houses were also opened on a Sunday.In making a sale of cattle or other animals a certain amount of money called booth was given(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
