  1. The Cat-Breacs were people who turned to protestants during the time of the famine on condition that they would receive soup. The Soupers were protestants who distributed the poor Irish soup during the time of the famine on condition that they woudl turn Protestants.
    Those people collected in several places in order to get soup from the Soupers. They distributed soup in all the Protestant Churches around and in St Mary's Church in Limerick.
    Several people around Bilbo attended these places and they were known as Cat-Breacs. A certain woman named Mrs Caughlan who was awarded for not taking the soup when herself and her family would not accept it. A certain woman who lived in Gurtavalla near "Kenny" well she had
