- About 40 feet out in front of the doorway is a cross carved into a rock. Inside the monastry are eleven round stones each at an equal distance apart. The stones in the wall are red sandstone and are held together by wet sand. In the center of the wall which is 2 ft 10 inches in thickness and seven ft. high there is a hollow. The thickness of the windows inside is about 3ft and a half and they slope out so that when they reach the outside they are only 8 inches wide. The window of the gable end has a greater slope than any of the others inside it is 2ft and outside it is only 6 inches outside.
