    Then the ghost runs after the mother and all the children to kill them, and that ends the game.
    "Hide and Seek" is played by girls of all ages. They select a nice place which they call the "den". Then one girl counts up to a certain number - say fifteen - and whatever girl is fifteen in the ring will have to turn her face into the den, whilst the others go off "on their hide". Then after five minutes or so, the girl who has her face to the wall seeks those "on their hide", and the one she first catches must turn her face into "the den" the next time, while she (the first seeker) goes off "on her hide" with the others.
    "Ring of Roses" is played by children from five to seven years of age. A group of about ten collect together and form
