One stormy night two Friars came to the door, when the husband was away; she could not refuse them; so she gave them shelter in the barn, and brought them out food.
When the husband came back he took out his gun, and was going to shoot the Friars. One of the Friars asked him to grant him one favour before he would die, and that was to let him preach his last sermon, "Well" says the man "since it costs me nothing I will."
So the Friar preached his sermon, and it has such an effect on the man that the tears ran down his cheeks in sarrow for his sins.
Then he thought they were not comfortable enough, and he brought in an extra bundle of straw. The Friars slept bery well, and one of them had a dream during the night.
In the dream he saw Blessed Micheal the Arch Angel weighing the man of the house. The devil was winning the man when Blessed Micheal brought over a bundle of straw which brought the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
