  1. The name of my townland is Ongenstown. it is in the parish of Boyerstown and barony of Navan.
    There are about 80 people living there; Mallon and Duignan are the names which are most common. The houses are all covered with thatch.
    There are very few old people living in my district, and the few there are tell stories in English, one man in Paddy Lawless who lives in Ongenstown
