    Roinn Roinn Postáil
    The people long ago worked in the morning before breakfast. Each meal consisted of potatoes and buttermilk and porridge. They had not tables long ago, they put a pot in the centre of the floor and a basket on top of it, there was one plate put in the basket, each person sat round the basket, and ate of the plate.
    The only kind of bread eaten was cakes of oat-meal and wheat-meal baked on a griddle.
    When tea was first used in the district, people used the tea leaves instead of water. They got tea on Sunday and Feast Days.
