When he was after taking a few loads of sand away he saw a pot he dug round the pot and got it out of the hole.
He held it before the sun and it began to glare, then he knew that it was gold. He wrote away to Dublin and experts came and brought it away, it was sent to America and Ned was compensated with a hundred pound.
