  1. There are many harmful weeds in the land, but the praiseac does the most destruction. The thistle is a weed that grows in good land and will not grow in bad land. The rushes and the flager will grow in wet land only.
    There are many weeds used as medicine such as, the crow-foot, the nettle, the buacalán, and the dandelion.
    The crow-foot is hammered up and mixed with salt and used as a poultice.
    The nettle is used for cleaning the blood.
    The buacalán is used for curing the jaundice.
    The dandelion is used for the liver.
    There are two weeds used as food for animals, the docken is given to pigs, and the nettle to fowl.
