- There are quite a number of travelling folk who visit our district every year. The best known of them are the Joyces, the Doyles and the O'Learys and many other families that are not known by name. As far as the people understand these families are very poor to judge by their appearance. In Summer time these travellers are often seen going from house to house selling various types of small articles.
