    of water out of a spring - well before the sun rises on "May - morning." To wash your face with the dew of the grass on May - morning it is said to keep away sun - burn.
    It is said to be very lucky to plant a tree or a shrub on Good Friday. Garlic sown on that day has a special cure. The old people had a great belief in beginning work on Monday morning and finishing it if possible on Saturday evening. It is also a rule to have potatoes and oats set and sown before the 26th April, and any crop later than that was called "Cuckoo - potatoes" and "Cuckoo - oats."
