- On the road leading from Moyne to Columbcille in the townland of Crott is a large forked tree growing by the roadside. It is known as the "Wart Bush". There is a hallow, full of water in the fork of the tree and it was never known to dry up. People come from all parts to get cured of warts. The water is rubbed on the warts before sunrise and the people of the locality say that the cure has never been known to fail.
This tree is decorated with coloured pieces of cloth which the people leave as as "offering."- Collector
