- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)about coming feasts, patterns, wakes, and local people of note. He is a small old man and he is writing poetry for many years.
The next poet was a man called "Poet Hughes". He is dead abut two years. He lived in the parish of Ardagh at a place called the Back of the Hill.
He frequently came to the town as he was the man who owned the Barrack. None of Poetry is preserved but about twenty years ago he is reputed to have been a great Poet.
When I saw him he was bent with grey side whiskers. He died at the ago of 81 years.
