- The May Bush. It has always been the custom here to put up the May Bush on May morn - 1st May. A fair - seized bush is got and it is decorated with pieces of coloured paper. The May bush is then placed at the gate or outside the dwelling house.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
