    In Co Wicklow it is said that when the 17th March comes, St. Patrick takes the cold stone out of the water.
    You should never kill any living thing on "Good Friday" or "Christmas Day" as it is very unlucky.
    It is counted unlucky to sew on Sunday and it is said that you would have to rip it out in the next world. You would have to do it with the point of your nose.
    It is said how the man in the moon came there was, he was gathering sticks and for a punishment he was put in the moon for gathering them on Sunday.
