Ar an leathanach seo
- In former times people did not begin to wear boots till they were nineteen years of age. There is no account of anyone who never wore boots. Children go in their barefeet only in Summer.
The water used for washing the feet is throw out and you are not to leave in the house at night. Boots are repaired locally, there are three Shoemakers in the district.
There are only a few people who wears clogs. Leather was made here about sixty years ago and the Van [?] yard was in the village beside the little river that runs through the town. Trees used to be barked in Cangort.
