- The saint traditionally connected with this district is St Féidhlimidh who is the patron saint of the Diocese of Kilmore.
He founded a church in the parish of Kilmore and is now used for a Sunday school by the Protestants. He is buried in the old Kilmore Graveyard.(continues on next page)
