  2. Long ago one morning a farmer was going to hive hay to his two cows. As he was going down the field he saw a hare among them. He passed no remarks of her and when he came back again she was there. He gave the hay to the cows and both of them began to eat. When the girl of the house went out to milk them, one of the cows was not good looking, and when she went to milk her she had no milk. The man went to the priest and the priest told him that she would loose one "spin" and that the other three would be alright.
