    is a high ditch round it. It is in view of many other forts. There is a story about it.
    Once upon a time there lived a man named John Johnson beside this fort. He had a boy working named Michael Flemming, brother of the present Jam James Flemming. One day Mr Johnson said to him "Dig the ramper of the fort and put on the land as topdressing". Michael started putting the camper of the fort and when night came he had a good deal of it put out. He went home to his father's house and there was an old woman in it named Margret Dias. She asked him what he was
