    The Belt: A field long and narrow like a belt. It is situated in Copponagh townland.
    There is a forge rock in the townland of Glanadarra in the parish of Tierworker. The reason it is called the forge rock is that a black-smith had a forge in it at one time.
    At the cross this side of Bailieborough Rakeevan cross one man killed another with a nail rod which he stuck in his head. He killed him because they had a fight some time before. The cross is in the townland of Rakeevan in the parish of Bailieborough.
    In the Curnamada rocks in the parish if Killinkere there was a priest killed reading mass. There is a well there which people go to for cures.
