  1. The following song was composed by the late Rev. Hugh Brady who was born in Bunnoe. He died about the age of sixty five and he is about twenty years dead now.
    The Annalee I
Moore sings of the valleys where bright waters meet
And he says in this world there's nothing so sweet
But he never had seen or he never did know
The Annalee waters that roll round Bunnoe.
    II
In childhood, and boyhood, and manhood as well.
How oft on that river I'd linger to dwell.
And watch her expand from fount, rivulet, and stream
To stenghth, grace, and beauty like a maid in her teens.
    III
Her charms unrivalled continue to grow
    Through Cootehill, Tullyvin, Rathkenny, Bunnoe
Perfected in all as she hastens her run
Through Ashgrove, Belturbet, to Erne at Crom.
    IV
I chased this fond river o'er rocks and through glens
Watched her kissing fair banks as graceful she flows
Saw her beauties increase with each ebb that flow.
And like fairy queen decked, arrived at Bunnoe.
