The local names for potatoes are, Kerrs Pinks, Shamrock, Aran Banners, Leinster Wonders, Aran Victors, Aran Chiefs, The Black Champion and White Champion, Up-to-Dates, The American Roses Epicures, British Queens. For early variety Epicures and American Roses. For late varieties Shamrocks.
