    come with four or five of these rounded caravans which they build themselves.

    These travel from fair to fair and do a trade in horses. Between times they settle down for a week or two and catch rabbits to be sold to local traders.
    The families who travel mostly to this part of the country are a tribe known as the Berrys who originally came for Wexford. Another family is called Connors and a third Purcel They are generally to be seen when fairs are in the local towns or when a hunt races or a coursing match is on.
