An American, - John Gleeson, painter - was papering a hall, there were roses on the paper. The man wanted to make his own flag, so he put the paper on in stripes and said the roses would do for the stars. The Stars and stripes of America. - 1, 2, 3, 4. As in previous story - "The Stars & Stripes".
