    7. Stings from insects Get some blue, and put it into a cup, pour water on it till it becomes a wet paste, then rub it to the sting. Wet washing soda and rub it to the sting and it will cure it also.
    8. Ear ache: Keep the ear over a cup of hot potato water for a few minutes. Heat a spoon of castor oil and put it on a piece of wadding and put it into the ear. Get a red wild flower called a poppy. Boil them in water and put them to the ear.
    9. A Nettle Sting: Twist a dock leaf around it.
    Head colds. Soak oatmeal in water and drink the water. Put a spoon of salt in a half cup of hot water and sniff up your nose.
    10. Nose bleeding: Lie back on a chair. Put cold keys or a stone down the person's back.
    11. Cracked lips: Got some fresh cream of the milk in the morning and rub it to your lips.
