St John's Day;
On St Johns Eve all boys and girls gather to some cross road and make a large bonfire. There they would remain all night dancing and singing. Long ago when the burned out some people brought home the coals.
St Martin's Day;
It is a custom to kill a goose on that day and to spill the blood at the door in honour of St Martin. Long ago the old people used to pour some of the blood on a piece of wool as they believed it was a cure for a pain in the side.
November Day;
