- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)on some of the hills "Marys Hill" The calves Hill " Matchets Hill" The pinnacle The far Hill "The bilberry Hill "The Whinny hill and the bridge hill". There is a little hill called "Dossys garden" and "The Mill hagard". Marys Hill got its name from an old woman who was living there long ago. The pinnacle is higher than any of the hills. "The Whinny Hill is all overgrown with whins. The brook Hill is beside a little brook. There is a big bridge at the foot of the "bridge Hill". A family known as the Dosey's lived in Dossy's garden. There used to be a flax mill in the Mill Haggard. There is a meadow called De Barraí's meadow, because there was a man living there named De Barraí. Not far from our farm there is a graveyard. Some of the old people say giants were buried there. There is a tree beside our farm and on that tree Catholics were hanged in Penal Times.
