His two brothers his father - His grandfather were smiths. Mike has given much help to collecting beal oideas. He is very intelligent and witty. He can go back very far and has a very clean memory.He was educated in Bodyke N.S. by my father Michael O'Doherty and could recite the pieces of Poetry he learned at school. He was very good at geography. He often tells of boys who were very stupid going to school and who got good government jobs from the English government. He was a good singer and dancer.
