- In Old Kilcullen there are two big stones standing up in the ground. One of them is larger than the other. In the Museum pictures can be seen of both of them.
On the top of Mellin hill sand pit there was a small monument which was lately knocked down. In the sand far below there was a large quantity of bones found.- Collector
