- Some home-made toys are said to be better than ones you buy. I made a lot of toys by fretwork. I once made a windmill and when you would pull it along the arms would turn around. I made it on a board and put four wheels on it. In one I put a groove round the rim on one wheel and also a groove on the rod holding the arms. I put a piece(continues on next page)
