    4. One magpie is supposed to bring sorrow two to bring joy three for a wedding and four for a boy.
    5. If you meet a red-haired woman you must turn back or you will have bad luck.
    6. If the cock crows at an unusual hour it is said to be the sign of death.
    7. When two hens are fighting a stranger is supposed to come in.
    8. If you meet pigs on a journey you are supposed to have luck.
    9. If a cat runs across the road as you are on a journey it is said you will have bad luck.
    10. If a black coal falls from the fire a man dressed in black is supposed to come in.
