    as Rose, Captain, Star, Tommy and Prince. The horses are brought to the forge about once a month and are shod, and their master also combs and clips their hair.
    The fowl are hens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. The hens are kept in a hen house every night. The hen house is a small galvanized building with perches for the hens to roost on and nests for them to lay in.
    The hens eat potatoes, cabbage, and oats and when the people call them they say cluck, cluck, and when they call the ducks they say wheek, wheek and geese cadusghe, cadusghe
