    and they used to come over from England for the month of November.
    They used to appoint a day for the tenants in the nearest town to meet them, and every tenant used to get notice, and they would have to go in and pay their year's rent all in one sum.
    Evictions were rarely carried out. If the tenants paid their rents they would not be evicted. A few tenants in this district were once evicted, because they were very poor, one in Bracklough and the other in Lissaneskea, those people when evicted went to America.
