  1. There was an old man in our village who was a tailor. The people came from far away to him with clothes to make. His name was Martin Duffy and he had a little house on the road side. He was getting a good deal of work to do while he lived on the road side but he got land and he built a house a long way from the road. The people thought it was very far to go to the house. Then he got no work to do after that.
