    as he was cutting them a big stone was flung by his head. He got afraid for a while but he cut them all away soon after.
    There was a cow(s) brought on a man of the Lenords that was living near the fort. On one morning when he got up he saw his cow outside the fort and he went for her and brought her home.
    It is said that there was a chief living in the field called "Gároa Cacail" and that he had a big castle at the top of the field. This is on the side of a hill and on account it was a very suitable place for a castle. When this chief died he was buried at the castle and that is why the field is called after him.
    In the field called "Darna Buaille" cattle were kept at night and there was a high wall round it. There are parts of the wall still standing.
