Not more than forty or fifty years ago, a couple from Áit Abhaile got married on a bad day. When they were returning from the marriage there was a big flood in the Béal na Buidhe river. There was a boy and a girl from Glencullen riding on the same horse. When he plunged into the river, he got knocked and they fell off and got drowned. They were got at the Ceathramhadh Mór lake.
