- Once up on a time there was a man coming from a fair. He was taking his time for his brother, because he had a cart. It was a dark night. He heard a cart coming after him.
He thought it was his brother's. He sat down a while on the side of the road. When the cart was up to him he said. "Halt", to the man. he did not "Halt" nor look.
He went over to the cart and he saw a man with his head in his hands. He turned and ran away. When he looked again. The man without the head had disappeared. He was very(continues on next page)
