  1. There are three forges round here. Two in Killala and one in Fohill. Tom Collins is in Fohill.
    Pat Hughes, and John Cawley are in Killala. They put shoes on horses mend ploughs and harrows and other things like that.
    They use a hammer,a pincers, a bellows, an anvil, and nails. The bellows is for blowing the fire. The hammer is for putting the nails in. A pincers is for pulling the nails out. The anvil is for making horses shoes. They make the horses shoes out of iron.
