    Some time after that a great many people came to turn the flag and they were greatly disappointed to find it gone, they said they had the prayers and fasting all done. People used to come from all parts of Ireland to St. Cumin's Well. There was several miracles performed at this well. There was a girl from County Sligo cured of blindness.
