- In my district certain herbs are looked upon as healing herbs and the following are known as the healing one. St Patrick's leaf, this leaf is a very plentiful leaf. It grows in all sorts of land both good and bad, dry and wet. It is a very green plant and it is a heart shaped plant. There is two sides on it and one side is smooth and the other is rough.
This is used for healing sores, specially. One side is for drawing out and other side on the rough side is for healing the sore. It is to be put against the sore and tie on with a cloth to prevent it from falling off and in a week(continues on next page)- Informant
