    when the butter is made when they see the little lumps of butter coming up on the lid. People say it is not lucky for anyone to bring a coal out of the fire while anyone is churning because there will be no butter on the churn. Then we rock the churn until the butter sets in nicely together. Then we take it up with a strainer and put it into the butter dish and throw water on it to make it hard. Then we put salt on it to make it taste nice and then we wash it again and after that we batt it into a roll.
